You're reading: AeroSvit settles all disputes with flight attendants

The administration of the Kyiv-based AeroSvit Airline has settled all of the disputes it had with its flight attendants, who earlier planned to hold a strike.

"Last night [Sept. 28] agreement on all of the disputed issues was reached. Today it is planned to sign the relevant document," AeroSvit Director General Assistant for public relations, Serhiy Kutsy, told Interfax-Ukraine.

He said that one of the clauses of the agreement foresee the payment of wage debts for the period of economic crisis in 2008-2009 within six months.

Flight attendants working for AeroSvit airline decided to hold a strike on Sept. 28, 2011, although after holding talks they decided to put off the strike and continue talks.

Flight attendants said that the company’s debt to them amounts to around Hr 15 million, while the airline’s administration said it is around Hr 9 million.
