The Agrarian Fund of Ukraine and dairy producers on Monday, April 23, will sign a memo regarding the stabilization of prices of milk bought from the public, the press service of the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry reported on Friday.
"On Monday, April 23, at 1300 a memo between the Agrarian Fund of Ukraine and Ukrainian dairy processors on the stabilization of prices of milk bought from households will be signed, so as to prevent a reduction in prices, and gradually increase them," reads the press release.
According to the release, the Agrarian fund will buy butter and powdered milk for the state intervention fund from processing companies.
The press service said that it is planned that the memo will be signed by Director General of the Agrarian Fund Ihor Yakubovych, and representatives from the leading companies in the sector – Milk Allince, Milkiland, East West Group, Agropolis, Terra Food, Galychyna, Donetsk municipal dairy plant two, Monastyrsky dairy plant and Dubnomoloko.
