You're reading: Antitrust agency permits Cypriot Miraphytos Holding to acquire Fitofarm

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has permitted Miraphytos Holding Ltd. (Cyprus) to acquire gain control over private joint-stock company Fitofarm (Donetsk region), the press service of the committee reported.

The press service said that the acquisition of the shares will allow
the Cypriot company to have over 50% of the votes in the management body
of the pharmaceutical manufacturer.

As reported, Fitofarm in 2012 saw a 9.3 percent rise in net profit, to Hr 3.226 million.

Fitofarm produces pharmaceutical products and is developing a chain of 13 pharmacies in Donetsk region.

The company’s product portfolio includes 114 medications actively used in dermatology, surgery, neurology and therapy.

The company said that Fitofarm in H1, 2013 had the eighth largest sales of medicine in packages among national manufacturers.
