You're reading: AvtoKrAZ to supply ten truck chassis to Azerbaijan in 2012

AvtoKrAZ holding company (Kremenchuk, Poltava region), the only Ukrainian producer of heavy trucks, by the end of 2012 will complete the delivery of ten KrAZ-7133N4 truck chassis to OJSC Azneftemash, one of Azerbaijan's leading manufacturers of various oil and gas equipment, lifting machines and special equipment for the oil and gas industry, the company's press service has told Interfax-Ukraine.

Under the contract, the value of which is not disclosed, the first batch of trucks (four units) will be shipped to the customer in the first half of 2012, and the rest of the trucks in the second half of this year.

The eight-wheeled KrAZ-7133N4 trucks, which have a capacity of up to 26 tonnes and are equipped with 330-hp eight-cylinder JaMZ-238 DE2 engines, will be used for mounting UP-80/UP-1000 Ruslan lifting machines used to carry out repairs and overhauls of oil and gas wells up to 5,000 meters deep.

The press service added that four such trucks were shipped to Azneftemash last year. During operation, the equipment demonstrated good technical performance indicators, which became an important factor in strengthening the partnership between Azneftemash and AvtoKrAZ.

In 2011, AvtoKrAZ supplied 34 dump trucks, truck chassis and KrAZ trucks to Azerbaijan.
