You're reading: Crimea to propose Turkish investors construct highways

The Autonomous Republic of Crimea is preparing projects for the development of the road transport sector, which are to be proposed to potential investors from Turkey, the main information policy department of the Council of Ministers of Crimea has reported, with reference to Council Chairman Anatoliy Mohyliov.

In particular, investors will be invited to participate in construction of highways in Crimea.

"Turkish companies have extensive experience in construction of highways. Their technologies and equipment will allow to perform work in quite short terms at a relatively low cost," reads the statement citing Mohyliov.

He also noted that Turkish investors are intending in May to come to Crimea and work on investment projects in all the areas of the development strategy, including transport, health industry and others.
