The largest private vertically integrated energy holding DTEK has submitted bids to take part in tenders to sell a 40.061% stake in Donetskoblenergo, a regional power supply company, and a 25% stake in Dniproenergo, a power generating company, the holding's press service has told Interfax-Ukraine.

"Bids were submitted by DTEK Holdings Ltd [Cyprus]," the press service said.

The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) has not yet reported who is the second bidder for the tender to sell the state-owned stake in Donetskoblenergo.

As reported, the SPF has received two bids to participate in a tender for the sale of a 40.061% stake in Donetskoblenergo and one bid for a 25% stake in Dniproenergo,

The starting price of the 1,491,858 shares in Dniproenergo is UAH 1.174 billion, and that of the 26,246,875 shares in Donetskoblenergo is UAH 449.5 million.

Market players says that the most likely winner of the two tenders could be DTEK Holding, which owns a 30.827% stake in Donetskoblenergo and a 47.55% stake in Dniproenergo.

In late 2011, DTEK won first two tenders to sell a 25% stake in Kyivenergo and a 45.103% stake in Zakhidenergo.
