You're reading: Government replaces director of Agrarian Fund

The Ukrainian government has dismissed Ihor Yakubovych as director general of the Agrarian Fund of Ukraine, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Olena Lukash told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.

She said that the government took this decision on Wednesday.

Lukash noted that Oleksandr Kiriuk, who previously served as the deputy director general of the fund, had been appointed the director general of the fund.

As reported, the Agrarian Fund was established by government order No. 543 of July 6, 2005. It is an authorized state agency for the implementation of pricing policy in the agricultural sector, and is managed by the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry.

Yakubovych took charge of the Agrarian Fund in April 2012.
