The Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine has approved category coefficients for Intercity+ trains made by South Korean company Hyundai Rotem.
According to ministry order No. 262 of May 16, 2012, which approves changes to tariffs for passenger and luggage transportation by rail inside Ukraine, the price of a ticket in economy class car in a train of increased comfort is calculated by multiplying of the price of a ticket in economy class car in a usual train of certain category by a coefficient, and expressing it in round numbers.

The luxury coefficient can be from 1.5 to 5 for passenger trains (cars) of first and second classes, apart from regional trains, and for regional trains and Intercity+ trains it can be from 1.5 to 10.

In addition, the document approves that the price of tickets for passengers for first and second class cars of the Intercity+ train is calculated by multiplying the price of a ticket for second and third class cars of the fast train by a coefficient of 2.

As reported, a ministry order on the approval of tariffs for the transportation of passengers and luggage by railway transport on domestic routes foresees a gradual increase in tariffs for passenger transportation in compartment cars from March 30, April 1, July 1 and October 1, by 3.4% on each date.
