First Vice Premier of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovsky has ruled out the possibility of default in the country.

"We don’t see a threat of default at all today. I mean, if we’re talking about the budget balance and economic development," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.

According to Khoroshkovsky, Ukraine has all of the necessary resources to service its debts.

He added that the government has done the necessary calculations until the end of the year to implement the social initiatives of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
