First Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Klyuyev inspects modernization efforts under way to improve Kyiv’s Boryspil Airport on Aug. 10 and municipal public transportation systems.
He took part in a trial run of a new high-speed train.

Plans envision that an above-ground metro line will connect the country’s capital with the airport.

Klyuyev also reviewed construction of the new Darnytsia bridge and train station.

All of the projects are seen as necessary to improving the public transportation system in Kyiv, whose streets have become increasingly clogged with automobile traffic.
