You're reading: Mining Machines supplies 12 transformer substations to Kazakhmys

The largest Ukrainian manufacture of mining equipment, Mining Machines, which unites the engineering assets of System Capital Management (SCM), has supplied 12 KTPV-type transformer substations of various capacities to Kazakh mining giant Kazakhmys, the company's press service reported on Thursday.

The press service said that the substations were made at Donetsk Energy Plant, which is part of Mining Machines.

The cost of the contract is not disclosed. Substations with the capacity of 400 and 630 kilovolt-amperes will operate at mines of Kazakhmys. The equipment has wheel pairs and power meters.

“Kazakhstan is one of the important sales markets for us. For many years Mining Machines has been building mutually beneficial relations with leading Kazakh corporations. In 2012, the group made two fans for Kazakhmys,” the press service said, citing Marketing and Sales Director Ihor Fomenko.
