New participants are planning to join the entrepreneurs' spring march that will be held in Kyiv on May 19, 2011 as part of the nationwide civil rally under the "Forward" slogan.

Public organizations from Drohobych, Alchevsk, Mariupol and Kremenchuk decided on May 4-6 to join the spring march, according to the Forward rally’s coordinating council.

"The joint civil rally to protect constitutional rights is uniting the whole country," the committee said in a statement on Friday.

In particular, the coordinating council of 16 public organizations of entrepreneurs in Drohobych district on May 4 decided to join the Forward rally and send their representatives to the spring march in Kyiv.

Forward rally coordinator for the towns of Drohobych and Striy Serhiy Alimov said: "We should be in Kyiv on May 19 to say stop to the tyranny of the officials, widespread corruption and economic repression that is destroying the economy and condemning millions of Ukrainians to poverty. Our civic duty is to make the authorities start a real fight against corruption; create and not destroy jobs, ensure the growth of wages and pensions, and adopt popular reforms in the interests of the people rather than the bureaucrats."

A similar decision was taken on May 5 by entrepreneurs from Kremenchuk who are part of the Popular Rada public organization. Chairman of the organization’s board Mykhailo Vasylenko said that all the movements that constitute the organization had unanimously supported the spring march and demand the adoption of the people’s reform (a package of legislative initiatives developed at the initiative of MP Natalia Korolevska).
