Petrol sales at fuel filling stations in Ukraine in June 2013 decreased by 0.9% compared to June 2012, to 284,500 tonnes.

According to the State Statistics Service, diesel fuel sales at fuel stations in June increased by 12.6%, to 166,000 tonnes, liquefied gas sales were up by 16.4%, to 36,900 tonnes, while sales of compressed gas fell by 14%, to 10,600 tonnes.

The share of A-95 petrol in total petrol sales was 53.5%, that of A-92 petrol – 44.1%, A-80 – 1.9%, and A-98 – 0.5%.

According to the State Statistics Service, the total value of petrol sold through the country’s fuel stations in June was Hr 4.151 billion (a 63% share), diesel fuel – Hr 1.971 billion (29.9%), liquefied gas – Hr 362.7 million (5.5%), and compressed gas – Hr 106.3 million (1.6%).

As of July 1, ending stocks of petrol at fuel stations amounted to 125,500 tonnes, diesel fuel – 67,500 tonnes, liquefied gas – 8,600 tonnes, and compressed gas – 100 tonnes.

In June 2013, some 7,766 fuel stations were operating in Ukraine. The largest numbers of them were in Donetsk (665), Kharkiv (513), Dnipropetrovsk (451), Kyiv (448), Odesa (437), Lviv (383), Luhansk (338), Vinnytsia (321) and Zaporizhia regions (315), Crimea (382) and Kyiv (326).
