Ukrainian Premier Mykola Azarov has promised government preferences to companies that invest a part of their incomes in construction of housing for their employees.

 “Our businesses are not strong enough to think only about their development. The government should give advice to businesses and help them, so that they could invest a part of their incomes in construction development… We will give preferences to our businesses if they spend a part of their incomes in development of construction,” the premier said at a ceremony to put in operation a block of flats of Antonov State Enterprise in Hostomel (Kyiv region) on Monday.

“Every house in operation is a contribution into development of our economy,” Azarov added.

The PM handed over the keys to apartments to residents of the new house and presented them with a playing ground for children on behalf of the government.
