The largest bank in Ukraine PrivatBank (Dnipropetrovsk) on May 6, 2014 resumed operation of its departments in Luhansk region, the bank's press service has reported.
“Thanks to support of the local community departments of the bank in Luhansk region resumed operation. The head of the Luhansk branch of the bank said that the operation of the bank in the future will depend on order in the region and joint efforts of the bank’s employees, local residents and authorities,” reads the report.
According to the report, stable operation of the bank will be possible only in the conditions of the absence of a risk for lives of clients and employees.
Earlier PrivatBank introduced some restrictions in operation with cash due to a threat to lives of employees and clients in the Ukrainian regions with high levels of crime – Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
A total of 130 departments of the bank operate in Luhansk region.
