The top managers of Rozetka.ua Ltd. (Kyiv) have agreed to pay damages caused to the state, and under part four of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the company could be released from criminal liability, the State Tax Service reported on Friday.
"Now the leadership of the company agreed to refund damage caused to the state, and under part four of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the infringers will be released from criminal punishment," reads a press release of the service.
The service told Interfax-Ukraine that the case could be closed when the state receive full payment of the damages.
Earlier it was reported that the State Tax Service accused Rozetka.ua of evading taxes worth over UAH 7 million.
