You're reading: TMM-Bank raises UAH 40 m subordinated loan

TMM-Bank (Kyiv) has attracted a UAH 40 million subordinated debt, the bank has told Interfax-Ukraine.

According to a bank representative, the National Bank of Ukraine’s (NBU) commission for the supervision and regulation of bank activities, on April 13 permitted the inclusion of these funds in the bank’s regulatory capital, which afterwards exceeded UAH 120 million.

The subordinated loan was issued by a resident legal entity for five years.

TMM-Bank was founded in 2002. Its largest shareholders, TMM-holding (22.925%) and Mykola Tolmachev (37.4017%), sold their stakes in the bank in April.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, as of January 1, 2012 the bank ranked 172nd among the 175 operating Ukrainian banks in terms of its overall assets of UAH 136 million.
