You're reading: Tymoshenko: I do not envy the country to which RosUkrEnergo is going

Leader of the oppositional Batkivschyna Party Yulia Tymoshenko has said that she does not envy the country, where the Swiss-registered gas trader RosUkrEnergo AG will go.

Commenting on a statement by Dmytro Firtash, a holder of a stake in RosUkrEnergo, that the company is leaving the Ukrainian market, Tymoshenko said: "To tell the truth, I think that RosUkrEnergo has suffered indigestion, they have eaten too much of Ukraine and want to move to another country."

"I do not envy the country where they are going to next, because the next state that they are planning to rob will have a hard time," she added.

In addition, Tymoshenko said that she would like to see RosUkrEnergo leaving Ukraine with criminal charges rather than public money.
