  Tallinn, April 13 (Interfax-Ukraine/BNS) - Viru Keemia Grupp (VKG), a manufacturer of shale oil and chemicals in Estonia, has obtained a license for the exploration of oil shale in Ukraine, Prime Minister of Estonia Andrus Ansip has told BNS when he returned from Ukraine.

“When largest investment is given, stability of investment climate has a large importance. It’s very important to have the predictable investment climate. This means that there should be a possibility of predicting not only for the current and next years, but for the period of 10 and even 20 years,” he said.

A member of VKG Board and Technical Director Meelis Eldermann did not express a desire to comment on the issue to BNS.
