You're reading: Yanukovych says Ukraine will improve business and investment climate

Ukraine will achieve economic stability via the implementation of structural reform and its development, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said at the Fifth International Investment Summit in Donetsk on Thursday.

“Our country’s key task is the implementation of the economic reform
program. It includes improving the business and investment climate,” he
said.

According to Yanukovych, today Ukraine’s own strong investment
resources should be used and foreign investments should be attracted to
ensure the modernization of the country.

“We realize that investments under conditions of a critical deficit
are usually made in profitable spheres with good purchasing capacity.
Ukraine’s economy completely meets such requirements, and having
overcome the crisis, it is continuing to develop,” the president said.
