Kyiv authorities will allocate Hr 140 million to conduct an autumn landscaping month in the capital, Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov has reported.

"It's far more than last year's [allocation]. We'll reconstruct and carry out major repairs of parks, squares and various territories," Popov told journalists at an extended sitting of the board of Kyiv City State Administration on Monday.

It is planned to plant 2,400 trees, 500,000 rose bushes, and an extra 2 million rose bushes are to be planted in 2013.
