Metalist Kharkiv will take on Portugal's Sporting Lisbon in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League, according to the results of the draw that was made in Nyon, Switzerland, on Friday, March 16.
Other pairs of the quarterfinals are AZ (the Netherlands) – Valencia (Spain), Schalke (Germany) – Athletic (Spain), and Atletico (Spain) – Hannover (Germany).
If Metalist makes it into the semifinals, it will take on the winner of the tie between Schalke and Athletic.
The quarterfinal matches will be played on March 29 and April 5, and the semifinals on April 19 and 26. The Europa League final will be played in Bucharest on May 9.
