Dynamo Kyiv’s star striker Artem Milevskiy is out of the second leg of the club’s Europa League round of 16 tie against Manchester City on March 17 after fracturing his arm.
Dynamo holds a 2-0 lead over the English team after the first game in Kyiv on March 10, but will travel to Manchester without the Ukraine international after he sustained the injury after landing awkwardly during Dynamo’s 2-0 win over Vorskla at the weekend. His arm was operated on Sunday night, and the club’s press service said he’ll be out of action for around two weeks.
With the victory over Vorskla, Dynamo edged closer to Premier League leaders Shakhtar Donetsk, which suffered a rare loss to Karpaty Lviv.
