The First National TV Channel and Savik Shuster Studio signed a cooperation agreement on Dec. 27, which foresees that two projects - the Shuster Live social and political talk show and a socially-oriented talk show, entitled "What Is the Movie About?" – will be broadcast on this channel from January 2011.

"The First National TV Channel will get the best quality social and political product in Ukraine. We consider the Shuster Live to be an image-making project that can raise the prestige of the First National TV Channel and put it on a par with the country’s leading TV channels," the channel quoted Director General of the National Television Company of Ukraine Egor Benkendorf as saying.

He said that no state budget funds would be spent on the program: "The First National TV Channel will not incur any costs linked to the production of the program. Under the agreements we reached, the studio will receive sponsorship funds, while the television channel will get a high-quality product."

TV host Savik Shuster, in turn, said that his studio had the experience of joint work with the First National TV Channel – the African Passion project during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The Shuster Live talk show was earlier broadcast on the Ukraina TV Channel.
