Who says fairytales don’t exist in real life?
In Kyiv, one fairytale has come to life at the National Art Museum, which has turned into a home for the Sleeping Beauty.
This re-enactment of a fairytale is a unique project of the Ukrainian-Canadian artist Taras Polataiko.
An anonymous beauty will be sleeping in her home for two hours per day until somebody wakes her up with a kiss, just like it happened in the story by Charles Perrault.
To get close to the maiden, visitors will have to sign a contract promising to marry her if she wakes up as a result of the kiss. She has already agreed to marry the guy who will make her eyes open.
The project runs until the beauty wakes up.
