Ukrainian pop star Ruslana Lyzhychko had a meeting with US Vice President Joe Biden on March 5.
“Honored to meet Ruslana Lyzhychko-a courageous advocate for peace, national unity and the rights of all in Ukraine,” Biden wrote in his twitter after the meeting.
On March 4 Ruslana who is also the Eurovision song contest winner was honored by US First Lady Michelle Obama for her active particiaption and support of anti-government protests in Kyiv. Ruslana received the 2014 International Women of Courage award for her bravery in Washington.
