You're reading: UNESCO headquarters in Paris to put Petrykivka paintings on display

On June 10-14, an exhibition entitled "Petrykivka Painting – Color of Traditions" will take place at the headquarters of UNESCO in Paris.

As the press service of Dnipropetrovsk regional council told the journalists on Monday, 55 Petrykivka paintings will be put on display in Paris.

 Citizens of many cities and towns located on the route from Dnipropetrovsk to Paris will be able to view the works of the exhibition.

“At every residential area where the delegations stop, masters of Petrykivka painting will conduct master-classes, demonstrating a unique technique of painting to all volunteers,” the press service of the regional council said.

Six masters of Petrykivka, an ensemble of bandura players and officials will form the official delegation.
