European Parliament ex-president Cox, Tymoshenko's daughter arrive at court hearing of UESU case

KHARKIV – Former President of the European Parliament Pat Cox has arrived at the building of Kharkiv Regional Court of Appeals to observe a hearing of the criminal case against former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko on the activities of the United Energy Systems of Ukraine (UESU) Corporation by Kyivsky District Court of Kharkiv.

According to an Interfax-Ukraine reporter, members of the BYT-Batkivschyna parliamentary faction, supporters of the ex-premier and her aunt Antonina Ulyakhina were also present in the courtroom.

The ex-premier's daughter Yevhenia Tymoshenko, who represents the defense in the case, also attended the hearing for the first time over a long time.
