Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Andriy Kliuyev says Mykola Azarov has a good chance to lead the government again.

When asked the odds of Azarov becoming the prime minister again, Kliuyev said: "The odds are good I believe. The thing is he is an experienced prime minister, he has worked in the cabinet for a long time, and I think that he is a worthy candidate. "

When asked whether he himself was ready to lead the government, Kliuyev said: "It is a big responsibility to be prime minister, especially in such a difficult time."

Kliuyev was elected to the parliament on the list of the Party of Regions, but has turned down his MP's mandate.

As reported, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Azarov and the entire Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The head of state has signed a relevant decree on December 3, after Azarov filed in his resignation, due to his election as an MP.

According to Article 115 of the Constitution of Ukraine, the entire government has to be dismissed following the prime minister's resignation. Thus, the president accepted the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers.

At the same time, following Part 5 of Article 115 of the constitution, the president ordered the government to carry out its duties until the new government begins to work.
