Kharkiv - Ukrainian opposition leaders Oleksandr Turchynov, Arseniy Yatseniuk, Mykola Tomenko and Viacheslav Kyrylenko were seen entering the premises of the hospital in Kharkiv where the convicted former prime minister is getting treatment, but did not answer when asked if they had been permitted to see her.

Meanwhile, about 100 supporters of Tymoshenko gathered at the hospital gate, many holding the flags of the Batkivshchyna party. Banners were put up on trees demanding freedom for the ex-prime minister.

Opposition leaders urged Tymoshenko to end the hunger strike she began shortly after the parliamentary elections of October 28 in protest against alleged vote rigging.
