You're reading: Poroshenko signs law on special seizure of property for eliminating corruption risks

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed law on amendments into Criminal and Civil Codes of Ukraine on improvement of the institutions of social seizure for elimination corruption risks.

The bill was passed by Verkhovna Rada on Nov. 10 and taken back when the president signed it on Nov. 23, the Ukrainian parliament said on its website.

The law is part of the EU visa free package – the list of the bills which must be adopted for Ukrainian citizens to be allowed to travel to the EU without visas.
