You're reading: Sadovy wins Lviv election with 61.1 percent of vote

All the ballots have been counted at the election of Lviv mayor, Chairman of Lviv City Election Commission Ihor Slipetsky has said.

“A total of 85,021 votes (or 36.86 percent) were cast for Ruslan Koshulynsky, while 140,942 voters (or 61.1 percent) supported [current mayor of Lviv] Andriy Sadovy,” he said at a press conference on the results the mayoral election.

According to the chairman of the commission, 2 percent of the ballots were found invalid.

Slipetsky said that the official election results will be announced on Nov. 18.
