Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has asked prosecutor of Kharkiv region Hennadiy Tiurin and chief of Kachanivska penal colony Ivan Pervushkin to guarantee her right to privacy when meeting with her defense lawyers, according to the official Web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.

"We have prepared a complaint and Yulia Tymoshenko has already signed it, which is addressed to Kharkiv regional prosecutor Tiurin and Kachanivska penal colony head Pervushkin. We also informed Mr. Sadovsky [judge of Kyiv District Court in Kharkiv, which hears the UESU case], so that later we should have an opportunity to properly prepare for the court hearings without anybody's interfering," lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko said.

Vlasenko recalled an incident that took place during the ex-premier's Thursday meeting with her daughter Yevhenia Tymoshenko, who is also her public defender, which was filmed by the prison staff.
