This year's parliamentary elections in Ukraine is a possibility to return Ukraine back on the democratic path of development, Head of the Council of the Batkivschyna United Opposition Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.

"Should we have 226 votes in the new Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the presidential elections will take place much earlier than in 2015. Because one of the laws that the new Ukrainian parliament should adopt is the law of Ukraine on the impeachment of president," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Saturday.

Yatseniuk stressed that the united opposition plans to create in the new parliament an ad hoc commission on the impeachment of president Viktor Yanukovych.
