At least five people were directly involved in plotting and carrying out the terrorist attack at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport on Jan. 24, one of the attendees of a closed Duma hearing, where top security officials discussed public security issues, told Interfax.

"At least five people were directly involved in carrying out the terror attack at Domodedovo," he said.

Law enforcement has identified the perpetrator of the terrorist attack. He is Magomed Yevloyev from Ingushetia, he said.

Two more suspected accomplices have been arrested and two others are wanted.

Law enforcement and security agencies have identified the so-called "close circle" of accomplices, which may have included Yevloyev’s brother and sister, the source said.

"The question as to who could be the mastermind of the Domodedovo blast was not raised at a Duma session on Tuesday," the source said.
