MOSCOW - The glorification of the Nazi in today's Europe and the pandering to these processes at a formal level is unacceptable, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
"We stressed the unacceptability in contemporary Europe of the glorification of the Nazi, neo-Nazi, the SS, and the pandering to such attempts at an official political level," he told reporters in Moscow on Friday.
After a recent march by SS veterans in Riga the Russian Foreign Ministry reacted by issuing a statement, summoning the Latvian ambassador and presenting a demarche to the Latvian Foreign Ministry, the Russian foreign minister said.
