The implementation of the Minsk agreements and the preparations for the Ukraine-NATO summit were discussed at a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO commission on Tuesday.

“During the meeting, which was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine – chief of the ministry’s staff Vadym Prystaiko, the current issues of the preparation for the Ukraine-NATO summit in Warsaw were raised, as well as those related to the security situation in Ukraine’s east, including in the context of the implementation of the Minsk agreements,” reads a statement posted on the website of Ukraine’s Mission to NATO.

According to this statement, the allies reaffirmed their strong political and practical support to Ukraine and non-recognition of the illegal annexation of Crimea.

“The allies emphasized the importance of the Minsk process to resolve the crisis provoked by Russia in our country and the importance of continued sanctions against Russia until the full implementation of the Minsk agreements,” the statement says.
