Moscow, April 7 (Interfax) - About 100 people gathered in Novopushkinsky Park in the center of Moscow on Saturday for an opposition rally previously agreed upon with the city administration.

Some of the demonstrators carried banners and posters saying ‘For Fair Elections’ and ‘Change Putin for Khodorkovsky’.

"Left Front leader Sergei Udaltsov will not appear at the rally, because he is ill," said Alexander Tsvirov, one of the rally organizers.

The participants in the rally intend to discuss details of future opposition demonstrations, including the so-called March of Millions planned for May 6. They were also distributing stickers to passersby to urge them to join the May 6 march.
