You're reading: Peskov: Ukraine could be discussed at Putin meeting with parliamentarians

Moscow - The situation in Ukraine will not be the central topic at the next week's meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and senior members of the Federation Council, but it might be mentioned, Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

“Such a meeting (with the upper house council) is on the agenda,” Peskov told Interfax on Friday, adding that the Ukrainian crisis is unlikely to be the main subject of the conversation.

“Discussing the situation in Ukraine is not the main task but the issue could be raised,” Peskov said.
