MOSCOW - Russian and Chinese sailors will hold joint exercises in the northwestern part of the South China Sea in September, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov told journalists in Moscow on August 30.

“From September 12 to 19, a group of Pacific Fleet ships will take part in the Russian-Chinese naval exercise Naval Interaction 2016, which is to take place in the northwestern part of the South China Sea,” Ushakov said.
