You're reading: Hyundai express train passenger awarded free tickets to Euro 2012 final

On June 29, several minutes before one of Ukraine’s new Hyundai express trains rolled off from Kyiv to Kharkiv, a Moscow resident who purchased the 100,000th ticket for the newly launched high-speed train service was awarded two free tickets to the Euro 2012 championship final to be held on July 1 in Kyiv, Interfax-Ukraine reported on June 29 citing the press service of Ukraine’s Infrastructure Ministry said.

According to Interfax-Ukraine, the tickets were awarded to Maksim Zhiznin who arrived in Ukraine to visit relatives in Kharkiv. He bought his ticket at 2:33 p.m. on June 28 in Kyiv.


The buyer told officials that he is likely to attend the final, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
