Kyiv's authorities and the organizers of the campsite for Swedish fans on Trukhaniv Island have thanked each other for successful cooperation.

“I can say that no country has better fans. We had no problems with them. We’re pleased that we successfully realized this project. And we’re ready to work with the Swedish side on other projects. We see that it’s possible to deal with them. They are great fans who can be received in the city without any problems,” Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Mazurchak said at a press conference at the Kyiv media center on Wednesday.

He noted that that he had had doubts about whether to create the campsite on Trukhaniv Island due to the amount of work that had to be done.

Mazurchak also noted that the Pleso public utility company was the organizer of the setting up of the campsite.

He also congratulated Sweden on earning a 2-0 win over France.

The organizer of the campsite on Trukhaniv Island, Niklas Helberg, thanked the Kyiv authorities and residents of the city for their assistance in the accommodation of Swedish fans.

“I want to thank everyone in Kyiv – Kyiv City State Administration and residents of Kyiv, who helped us during our stay in Kyiv,” he said.
