Poland’s national football team has named its final squad for the Euro 2012 European Football Championship, reads a statement posted on the official Web site of the Polish Football Association on May 27.

Franciszek Smuda’s list does not include Torino defender Kamil Glik, Legia striker Michal Kucharczyk and Polonia defender Tomasz Jodlowiec. The injured London Arsenal goalkeeper, Lukasz Fabianski, was replaced by Genk goalkeeper Grzegorz Sandomierski.

Poland’s squad for Euro 2012 is the following:

Goalkeepers: Wojciech Szczęsny (Arsenal), Przemysław Tyton (PSV Eindhoven), Grzegorz Sandomierski (Genk).

Defenders: Lukasz Piszczek (Borussia Dortmund), Sebastian Boenisch (Werder), Marcin Kaminski (Lech Poznan), Damien Perquis (Sochaux), Marcin Wasilewski (Anderlecht), Jakub Wawrzyniak (Legia), Grzegorz Wojtkowiak (Lech).

Midfielders: Jakub Błaszczykowski (Borussia Dortmund), Dariusz Dudka (Auxerre), Kamil Grosicki (Sivasspor), Adam Matuszczyk (Fortuna Dusseldorf), Adrian Mierzejewski (Trabzonspor), Rafal Murawski (Lech Poznan), Eugen Polanski (Mainz), Ludovic Obraniak (Bordeaux), Maciej Rybus (Terek), Rafal Wolski (Legia).

Forwards: Paweł Brozek (Glasgow Celtic), Robert Lewandowski (Borussia Dortmund), Artur Sobiech (Hannover).

Poland’s opponents in Group A are Greece, Russia and the Czech Republic.
