KIRSHA, Ukraine — France winger Franck Ribery pulled out of France's training session at the European Championship on Wednesday, while midfielder Samir Nasri was rested as a precautionary measure.
Ribery had been jogging for only a few minutes when he stopped and held his left heel before going off to get treatment. Nasri had taken a knock to his right knee during Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat to Sweden and he sat out the session as a precautionary measure.
France plays Spain in the quarterfinals in Donetsk on Saturday.
