Ukraine finished fourth in the medal count at the 2012 Summer Paralympic Games in London.

On the last day of the competition, Ukrainian 7-a side footballers,
although losing to their Russian opponents 0-1 in the final, still
brought a final, silver medal for Ukraine, which helped it eventually
finish ahead of Australia.

Ukraine won 32 gold, 24 silver and 28 bronze medals (84 medals).
Australia, which was fifth, has 32 gold, 23 silver and 30 bronze medals
(85 medals). The United States was sixth, with 31 gold, 29 silver and 38
bronze medals (98).

China confidently took first place at the 2012 Paralympics after
claiming 91 gold, 71 silver and 65 bronze medals (231). Russia was
second (36 gold, 38 silver and 28 bronze medals – 102). Host Britain was
third, with 120 medals, including 34 gold, 43 silver and 43 bronze
medals.

The 14th Summer Paralympics were held in London from August 29 to
September 9. Over 4,000 athletes took part in the competition. Medals
were awarded in 20 sports.

A total of 155 Ukrainian athletes participated in 12 sports: rowing,
wheelchair volleyball, judo, athletics, table tennis, powerlifting,
swimming, shooting, archery, wheelchair fencing, seven-a-side football,
and cycling (track, road).
