Dnipropetrovsk, May 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Chief of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Department of Health Valentyna Hinsburh has flatly refuted reports which appeared in some media about the death of eight people injured in the explosions in Dnipropetrovsk on April 27.

"As of 2000 on Monday, there were 14 injured in the city hospitals. One elderly woman, born 1935, is still in grave condition, which is due to her age and general medical condition. All the victims are alive. Their lives are out of danger," she said.

Eight of the patients have light injuries, five have injuries of medium severity, one is in serious condition, according to Hinsburh.

As reported, on April 27, four blasts hit Dnipropetrovsk. According to the Health Ministry, 30 people were injured, 26 of them were hospitalized, as a result of the incident.
