Almost 41,000 soldiers sign contracts with army since year start – Defense Ministry

Some 40,800 soldiers have signed contracts with the army since the beginning of the year, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-Colonel Oleksiy Chernobai has said.

“Some 40,800 servicemen, of whom about 4,500 are army officers, have signed contracts with the army,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv.
