Searching for the news of EuroMaidan became easier with a number of useful EuroMaidan apps that help to stay up-to-date with news from the ongoing protests. The Kyiv Post tested the apps to see if they are any good.

UA Maidan app by Sergey Chechuta is a SOS app designed
for those who need to get help urgently. The app helps to reach out the most
useful services – it has medical aid numbers, hotlines, Facebook and Twitter
pages. Besides that, the app lists the most important news services, including
Ukrainska Pravda, Hromadske TV, Liga.net and Euromaidan.com. The user is free
to add the most relevant news outlets to the favorites. Also the app helps
follow the latest events on Twitter using hashtags #euromaidan or #евромайдан.

EuroMaidan created by Artistecard gives a glimpse on the
latest EuroMaidan events – it features the collection of filmed videos by
Hromadske TV, Espreso TV, 5 Channel and others. Also it lists the EuroMaidan-related
songs, including the hits of the Ukrainian pop and rock bands Okean Elzy,
Tartak and others. The app is available in English.

Minutes group designed for EuroMaidan supporters. It brings together the most
interesting news and allows anyone to contribute reporting about EuroMaidan.

Euromaidan app developed by Arsen Arustamyan designed both
for iPhone and iPad offers fresh news from Patrioty Ukrainy (Ukraine’s patriots)
public Vkontakte page. The users are free to like and share the news via their
Vkontakte pages.
