You're reading: Armored vehicles enter Kramatorsk, blocked by pro-Russian activists

Armored vehicles with Ukrainian flags entered the streets of Kramatorsk early on Wednesday, and get blocked by pro-Russian activists, the Kramatorsk News online newspaper has reported.

The newspaper provided a photo showing Ukrainian servicemen moving on several BMD light infantry fighting vehicles.

Some local residents are trying to block the movement of armored vehicles.

“They are currently restricting the movement of tanks. One of the minibuses blocked the road to them. It was reported that several more tanks were moving from the village of Ivanivka to Kramatorsk,” the newspaper reported.

Two helicopters are flying over Kramatorsk.

According to eyewitness, there are about 300 Ukrainian soldiers in the town.
