Luhansk, June 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov believes it is possible to ensure the adequate supply of Luhansk region with high quality water within two to three years.

"The main problem of Luhansk region is ensuring normal supply of water of high quality. Surely, this cannot be done at once. I think that within two to three years we can solve this problem to get rid of such a shameful phenomenon as water supply according to a schedule and water delivery," he said at a meeting with employees of Luhansk Regional Hospital in Luhansk on Friday.

The prime minister said that at present seventeen villages and towns of the region receive water according to a schedule, and the vast majority of towns receive water of poor quality.
